Following the success of the 2013 series of UK Foundation Fieldbus Study Days, the FFUKMC has announced that it will continue the series into 2014. Preliminary plans include Study Days in London, Aberdeen and Ireland. The exact dates and locations are still to be defined.
The Foundation Technology Study Days typically follow a tried and tested format:
- The morning session (10.00 - 12.30) will focus on an introduction to Foundation technology & solutions and the lifecycle/support economics - feedback and interaction by delegates is welcomed.
- The afternoon session (13.30 - 16.00) will present a more in-depth programme of presentations and workshops with a focus on supporting a Foundation installation through asset management; device replacement; calibration and recommended maintenance practices.
All registered delegates are invited to the complimentary lunch during which Fieldbus Foundation member companies will be available to discuss and demonstrate their Foundation products and services.
Also available during the lunch break will be update presentations on Foundation for Remote Operations Management (F-ROM) and Foundation for Safety Instrumented Functions (FF-SIF).
Delegates can choose whether they attend the morning or afternoon session or are welcome to attend both. Lunch is open to all delegates and there is no charge to attend the Foundation Technology Study Day.
Delegates are invited to register their names, company, email address and session preferences with the UK Committee, email:
