“Fieldbus Life Cycle Economics” Presentation Held - Bulcontrola 2010, Sofia, Bulgaria

Hosted by FFCEEMC member Borislav Mladenov, and organised by FFCEEMC member companies Emerson Process Management, Yokogawa and Pepperl+Fuchs, the presentation was part of the conference programme at the Bulcontrola 2010 exhibition and conference at the Inter Expo & Congress Centre, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Hosted by the FFCEEMC chairman, Mr. Jürgen George, and organised by the FFCEEMC member companies Pepperl+Fuchs, R.Stahl, ASE and Turck, the presentation was part of the Automaticon 2010 International Trade Fair's conference programme held during the exhibition at the Warsaw International Expocentre from 23-26 March 2010.

University of Miskolc, Hungary, Certified Under FOUNDATION Certified Training Program

GDANSK, Poland, March 16, 2010 - The Fieldbus Foundation has announced today that the University of Miskolc, Hungary, has reached a significant milestone in its application to become an accredited training site that offers fieldbus training courses certified under the Foundation Certified Training Program (FCTP). The University of Miskolc and the Fieldbus Foundation have signed a license agreement that recognises the University of Miskolc as a certified training centre that is undergoing the rigorous process of auditing its educational curriculum and instructors in order to achieve full certified training centre status.

FFCEEMC Participates in DCS15, Hungary

pic_dcsThe Fieldbus Foundation Central & Eastern European Marketing Committee (FFCEEMC) is delighted with the success of the recent 15th annual Distributed Control Systems (DCS 15) conference and exhibition held at the Hotel Palota, Miskolc-Lillafüred, Hungary, on October 26-28, 2009. Over 280 engineers, end users and representatives of the world's leading suppliers of process control and automation equipment attended the three day event organised by the Research Institute of Applied Chemistry, the University of Miskolc and the Miskolc Organisation Society for Measurement, Automation and Informatics.

University of Miskolc, Hungary, Applies For FOUNDATION Certified Training Centre Accreditation

The Fieldbus Foundation has announced that the University of Miskolc, Hungary, will shortly commence the rigorous certification process required to become a training site that offers fieldbus training courses certified under the Foundation Certified Training Program (FCTP). This program establishes uniform standards for fieldbus educational curriculum around the globe, and defines acceptable levels of learning for students of the technology. Once successful in the FCTP accreditation process, the Univerisity of Miskolc will become the preferred site for Fieldbus Foundation training for the Central & Eastern Europe region.

Review - FFCEEMC Meeting Mar 9-10 2009, Budapest, Hungary

ffceemc_mar09The Fieldbus Foundation Central & Eastern Europe Marketing Committee (FFCEEMC), established in September 2008, held a successful committee meeting and "Meet the Press" event in Budapest, Hungary earlier this year.

The two day meeting from March 9-10th had a clear focus - to establish a clear, well-defined strategy for the promotion of Foundation fieldbus technology throughout the CEE region and to review current actions.

New Fieldbus Foundation CEE Marketing Committee Established

dscf1127Prague, Czech Republic, September 30, 2008 -The Fieldbus Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Fieldbus Foundation Central and Eastern European Marketing Committee (FFCEEMC) to promote an increased awareness and adoption of Foundation technology throughout the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region through a range of end user focused activities including training, technical support, trade show participation and end user seminars.

The FFCEEMC will be responsible for marketing activities in Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey.

End User Seminar Held On River Danube!

hpim37391Budapest, Hungary, May 2008 - The Fieldbus Foundation's Hungarian Marketing Committee is delighted with the success if its first end user event for the year - a customer seminar held on May 8th on a cruise boat on the Danube.

Starting and finishing at Budapest, Hungary, the boat cruised up the Danube river to Visegrád and back whilst 56 delegates attended an informative presentation program.
