Fieldbus Foundation compact ultrasonic sensor for continuous level measurement. Especially suitable for measurement of liquids and solids in virtually all industries, particularly in the water and waste water economy.
Utilising powerful waves powerful ultrasonic waves, VEGASON sensors cover a wide range of applications with measurements up to 70m. Ultrasonic measurements are unaffected by density, dielectric constant, conductivity and moisture content of the product. Since they do no contact the medium, ultrasonic sensors are ideal for viscous, corrosive and abrasive products, but also for gauge measurements in water and waste water treatment. The measuring principle is a very cost-effective solution: sensor costs are low, installation and wiring expenditures are considerably reduced thanks to service-proven two-wire technology and parameter adjustment is as easy as the actual operation of the sensors.
